This bronze was inspired by a famous sleeping lion of Lucerne (see photo). Such awe inspiring animals, such power, but when they are sleeping, you are tempted to go and stroke them - but best not to. My first ever bronze was a lions head, but it remains a wax - to remind me of humble beginnings! It was too expensive to cast into a bronze at the time. The power of these awesome majestic creatures will be the subject of my next bronze.

The dimensions are 15 cms long, and 5 cms from base to top of mane.
