This was my first animal that was cast (Bronze Age foundry in Simons town Cape Town). Such a classic pose for this magnificent antelope - head up, ears fully alert, and those horns twisting upwards in perfect symmetry.

Our own ‘Monarch of the Glen’ in Africa - the Kudu is found wild, all over South Africa.

It stands 19 cms high to the tip of the horns.
